Founder and main collaborator, Kate has nearly 20 years experience working for luxury interior designers, contractors, architects, manufacturers, millworkers and more.

Whether it be outsourcing your drafting, project management, presentation files, or assisting with installations - The Designer's Collab can assist in any virtual or in-person service capacity giving the sole designer or design firm a true 3rd party support system to build their business and enhance their client's experience with every tool available.

We use a collaborative approach to help you manage your project and business (without the costly overhead) so that you can fuel your passion by creating beautiful designs.

How Does it Work?

  • We will discuss the needs, priorities, budget and timeline of your project or general needs of your business via zoom or phone. During this initial consultation we will cover the entire scope of your project so that we can fully understand your needs.

  • After our initial consultation, we will provide you with a tailored contract outlining the needs of your business or project.

  • We gather all the documents and additional information needed for a successful collab. We will work from there to help take the stress out of your everyday business and provide you with a sense of confidence that your project will run smoothly.

What’s your pricing?

Individual contract structure and pricing are based on scope of project and business needs. Considerations for pricing include but not limited to scope, hours required, travel, complexity, and availability. Services indicated with (*) are charged at a higher hourly rate. Hourly Rates – clients can reserve hourly work for a day or week at a time with a 2-hour/per day minimum, and subject to availability.

Elite Package – full scope of services to complete a new build or renovation and includes every stage of the project. One month subscription equal to 40 hours minimum. Retainer required.

Additional fees may be applied for travel or other expenses.

FAQ’s

  • Most of our work is done remotely but we are available for travel as needed. Additional fees will incur if travel is required but all fees will be outlined in your contract so there are no surprises.

  • No, all purchasing would be placed through your company. However, all sources, specifications and pricing will be provided to you in a neatly organized package.

  • Absolutely! We can assist with developing your office standards but it is part of our service to use what you already have in place.

  • We primarily work with AutoCAD, Sketchup and the full Adobe Creative Suite. However, let us know if there is a different program you need and we will see what we can do.

  • We can use a variety of programs so let us know what works best for your business but we primarily use Microsoft Planner, Google Workspaces, Trello and Studio Designer.
